We are located on Forster Street, Galway City, just off Eyre Square within walking distance from the bus and railway station. Click here for our location.
Is there parking near HYDE Bar?
There is a multi-story carpark, City Park, located on Fairgreen Road, Galway. This is just a 1-minute walk to HYDE Bar. As there is a one-way driving system on Forster Street we would advise parking ahead of arriving at the bar.
How can I make a booking?
All bookings go through our website, click here to reserve a table.
Why have I not received a confirmation email?
If you attempted to make a booking and did not receive a confirmation email, it means your booking did not go through and you must rebook.
What if the date or time I am trying to book is not available on the website?
This means we are fully booked on your preferred date or time, please choose an alternative time or date.
Is there a time limit on bookings?
Yes, all bookings are for a two-hour period
Do you take drink-only bookings?
Of course, drinks tables are available from 9:30 pm daily.
Do you offer sharing boards?
Yes, sharing boards are available from 9:30 pm.
Can I request a specific area or table?
We are unable to take requests for specific tables or areas.
Can I request multiple tables to be near each other?
We are unable to guarantee multiple tables near each other.
Can you split a bill for groups?
We are unable to split payment for groups of 8 or more.
Can I make a prepayment?
We are happy to take prepayment so you can enjoy the HYDE experience more on the day!
Do you have a cancellation list?
We do not operate a cancellation list but advise keeping an eye on our booking system for any cancellations that may come through.
Are you vegan-friendly?
Yes, we have a range of vegan options on our brunch, lunch and dinner menus.
Do you have any vegetarian and gluten-free options?
Yes, we have a range of vegetarian and gluten-free options on our brunch, lunch and dinner menus. Please advise your server of any dietary requirements on arrival as many dishes can be amended.

What time does HYDE Bar close at?
Sunday to Thursday 11:30pm, Friday and Saturday 12:30am.
Can we personalise menus for Groups?
As part of our sustainability strategy, we no longer print personalised menus in order to reduce our paper usage.

Does HYDE supply decorations for group events?
No, but if they are dropped into HYDE before the event, we can decorate for you, meaning one less job to worry about!
What types of decorations are permitted?
We welcome balloons and table decorations on the day of your event. Please note; balloon arches, confetti and banners are prohibited. Explicit materials are prohibited.
Do you allow fancy dress?
At HYDE we adhere to a dress code of smart-casual, and smart attire. Fancy dress is not permitted.
Do we allow celebration and birthday cakes to be brought in?
Absolutely, everybody loves cakes!
